GUARD logo

GUARD is a collaborative program between Fraternity & Sorority Affairs and the Women's Resources Center.

This interactive program, offered in the fall and spring semesters, educates students on creating a safe campus which values consent, supports survivors, and intervenes in potentially dangerous situations. For more information regarding GUARD, visit wecare.illinois.edu/prevention/students/guard/.

It is an expectation for every chapter to have one initiated member per every 35 members of their total chapter size (based on final spring grade reports) attend GUARD. The purpose of this expectation is to enhance and provide each organization with a member(s) who can serve as a resource regarding consent and sexual assault prevention. Should you have any questions regarding the number of representatives your chapter should have in attendance, please contact Fraternity & Sorority Affairs at (217) 333-7062 or fsaffairs@illinois.edu.

For questions regarding GUARD: Consent & Sexual Assault Prevention for Fraternities & Sororities, please contact Amanda Wahba, Assistant Director at wahba3@illinois.edu.
