What is the Jorgensen Fund?
The Adlon Dohme Jorgensen Greek Life Endowment Fund was established in 1993 in honor of Panhellenic Council Advisor, Adlon Jorgensen. Adlon advised the University of Illinois Panhellenic Council for 16 years.
Fraternity & Sorority Affairs supports and advises the Black Greek, Interfraternity, Panhellenic, and United Greek Councils, as well as the individual member chapters. Our programs and services promote academic achievement, diverse membership recruitment, leadership development, philanthropic and community service, risk management, and sound maintenance of physical facilities while fostering a strong bond of brotherhood and sisterhood. Fraternity & Sorority Affairs supports the missions of Student Affairs as well as the University.
The impact of your donation…
"The Greek Leaders Retreat helped me to understand my own leadership style and provided an opportunity for me to learn about how to effectively work with other leadership styles. I was also able to establish relationships with other chapter leaders on campus. Throughout my terms as chapter president and as a council officer, I frequently utilized this network and the acquired knowledge to address issues within my chapter and the Interfraternity Council."
Jeff Gardner (FAA, 2010)
2009 Interfraternity Council President
2008 FIJI Chapter President"During our GreekServe trip to Paul Robeson High School in Chicago, I felt like I was able to make a difference in the lives of high school students with other fraternity and sorority members who were as passionate about service as I am."
Elise Moore (FAA, 2010)
2009 Panhellenic Council Vice President of Programming
